Is this going to tarnish, fade, or turn skin green?
No. This hug ring is 18K Gold PVD coated over a 316L surgical-grade stainless steel base, not brass or plated alloy. WJW's published specs put the PVD coating at 8 to 10 microns, surpassing 1,200 hours of neutral salt-spray testing, so the finish resists tarnishing, fading, and flaking. It is hypoallergenic and safe through showers, pools, and everyday wear without turning skin green.
