Will this tarnish or turn my customers' skin green?
No. This paperclip chain necklace is built on a 316L surgical-grade stainless steel base, not brass. The 18K Gold PVD coating is applied 8 to 10 microns thick and surpasses 1,200 hours of neutral salt-spray testing, so it does not flake or wear off the way plating does. It is non-tarnish, waterproof, and hypoallergenic (nickel-free and lead-free). Your customers can wear it through showers and daily life without it turning their skin green.
What widths and lengths does this paperclip necklace come in?
It is stocked in three link widths (2.5mm, 4mm, and 6.5mm) and six adjustable lengths: 14 inch, 16 inch, 18 inch, 20 inch, 24 inch, and 30 inch, each with a 2 inch extender. That gives you 15 variants to build an assortment from.
Is this a finished necklace or chain by the foot?
This is a finished necklace, sold per piece with the clasp already attached. It is ready to display and sell. If you need paperclip chain by the foot for permanent jewelry welding, WJW stocks that separately.
Can I use this necklace as a base for pendants and charms?
Yes. The paperclip link is wide enough to pass most pendants and charms, which is why retailers stock it as a layering base alongside a charm or pendant display. It also sells well worn solo.
Is this nickel free and safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. This necklace is made from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, the same alloy used in surgical tools. It is nickel-free, lead-free, and hypoallergenic, which makes for a safe option to stock for customers with metal sensitivities.

The wrist watch is cute—I think I like the style without a matte shine down the middle a little better—but that is personal preference.
I needed to take off a couple of links to make it fit right which I thought was good. I’m a little bit on the larger side so I know for a fact I will need to take off links for a majority of my customers (if buying in person) but I like that it means I can confidently sell to someone a little bigger than me too.
I do wish there was more guidance on HOW to take off the links. It was easy but since I had never done something like that before I was very nervous and lacked confidence in how to do it until I found a video on YouTube that seemed to be the best match on what to do.
I always receive shipments quickly and I’m always surprised that everything looks so much better in person and with great quality
