We use the process of PVD Coating our 18K Gold jewelry over 316L surgical grade stainless steel for a non-tarnish, hypoallergenic, polished finish that will hold up best to everyday wear and will never turn your customer's skin green.

No. This track shoe charm is 18K Gold PVD coated over a 316L surgical-grade stainless steel base, not brass or plated alloy. WJW's published specs put the PVD coating at 8 to 10 microns, surpassing 1,200 hours of neutral salt-spray testing, so the finish resists tarnishing, fading, and flaking.
