Is this going to tarnish, fade, or turn skin green?
No. This cross pendant is 18K Gold PVD coated over a 316L surgical-grade stainless steel base, not brass or plated alloy. WJW's published specs put the PVD coating at 8 to 10 microns, surpassing 1,200 hours of neutral salt-spray testing, so the finish resists tarnishing, fading, and flaking. It is hypoallergenic and safe through showers, pools, and everyday wear without turning skin green.

Really cool strong chunky chain. It’s got some weight to it so it’s most suitable for the big guys and gals. The clasp is a little disproportionate but should hold but break if necessary (as it should be the case for stainless chains) The stainless and black is somewhere between a satin/matte like finish which I like. If it does well at my pop-up this weekend, I’d get it again. My photo doesn’t do it justice.

We were happy with the quality of the Gold filled chain, but there is no obvious difference between the Gold filled and the standard gold plated PVD that we’ve purchased previously. I was hoping it might be a lighter, brighter, shade of gold than the standard, but next to each other, I can’t tell the difference. Still gave it full stars because it is durable, and decent quality.
This is such a functional piece as a mixed metal. The design is super on-trend right now and can be designed as a charm bracelet or worn on it's own. I sold out of my entire order on the first day!
