Will this tarnish or turn my customers' skin green?
No. This charm holder necklace is built on a 316L surgical-grade stainless steel base, not brass. The 18K Gold PVD coating is applied 8 to 10 microns thick and surpasses 1,200 hours of neutral salt-spray testing, so it does not flake or wear off the way plating does. It is non-tarnish, waterproof, and hypoallergenic (nickel-free and lead-free). Your customers can wear it through showers and daily life without it turning their skin green.
How do charms attach to this necklace?
The necklace has a push-open circular carabiner, so charms can be added, swapped, or removed by the customer without a jeweler's tools and without soldering. That is what makes it a repeat-purchase piece: customers come back to buy more charms.
What lengths and finishes are available?
Two finishes (polished stainless and 18K Gold PVD) across three lengths: 16 inch, 18 inch, and 20 inch, each with a 2 inch extender.
Is this suitable for a charm bar?
Yes. It is one of the most common foundation pieces for a charm bar, because the carabiner lets a customer build their own piece on the spot from your charm assortment.
