Will this tarnish or turn my customers' skin green?
No. This blank ring is built on a 316L surgical-grade stainless steel base, not brass. The 18K Gold PVD coating is applied 8 to 10 microns thick and surpasses 1,200 hours of neutral salt-spray testing, so it does not flake or wear off the way plating does. It is non-tarnish, waterproof, and hypoallergenic (nickel-free and lead-free). Your customers can wear it through showers and daily life without it turning their skin green.
What widths and ring sizes are available?
Six widths (2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, and 8mm) across 14 ring sizes (3 through 16), which is 79 variants. That covers a full size run for both men's and women's customers.
Can this ring be engraved or hand stamped?
Yes. It is a blank, made as a substrate for hand stamping, laser engraving, and custom personalization. The 316L stainless base takes a clean impression and will not tarnish afterward.
Does the gold finish survive engraving?
The 18K Gold PVD coating is bonded to the steel at 8 to 10 microns. Engraving cuts through the coating by design, which is what creates the contrast in the finished piece. The surrounding finish stays intact.
Is this nickel free and safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. This ring is made from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, the same alloy used in surgical tools. It is nickel-free, lead-free, and hypoallergenic, which makes for a safe option to stock for customers with metal sensitivities.
