No. The metal on this oval healing stone charm is 18K Gold PVD coated over a 316L surgical-grade stainless steel base, not brass or plated alloy. WJW's PVD coating is typically 8 to 10 microns thick and has surpassed 1,200 hours of neutral salt-spray testing, so the finish resists tarnishing, fading, and flaking. It is hypoallergenic and safe for everyday wear without turning skin green.
